The Position
The primary responsibility of the Psychology Instructor is to provide quality teaching both online and in-classroom in a full range of community college Psychology courses which may include; Introduction to Abnormal Psychology, General Psychology, Human Developmental Psychology (from infancy through old age), and Learning and Memory.
Required Education:
Master’s in Psychology or Master’s plus 30 graduate hours or 20 graduate semester hours in academic content in Psychology from a Psychology or Psychological Science department. All degrees and graduate credits must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Classes counted toward the above meet the requirement if:
1. They involve primarily classroom experience
2. The majority are graded credit
3. They align with the broad focus of content in General Psychology
